Our company has expanded the insert lineup for Solid CBN [ Coated SUMIBORON BNC8115/SUMIBORON™ BNS8125 ] for sale as of February 2022.
Solid CBN grades, made from 100% sintered CBN, is mainly used for high-speed, high-efficiency machining of grey cast iron parts such as brake discs and cylinder blocks. In November 2020, our company launched new CBN grades [ Coated SUMIBORON BNC8115/SUMIBORON™ BNS8125 ] in pursue of longer tool life in grey cast iron machining, with a balance of strength and toughness; we have now expanded the lineup of inserts with clamp holes supporting double clamp holders.
1. Features
Inserts with clamp holes, for double clamp holders, have been added to the Solid CBN Coated SUMIBORON BNC8115/SUMIBORON™ BNS8125, supporting large depths of cut. In addition to simplified insert mounting and removal, indexing accuracy is also improved.
