SUMICRYSTAL CD has optimized crystal orientation and shape as a material for wire drawing dies. Realising excellent performance through high quality and stability.

High quality crystals with few inclusions, defects and distortion are used, providing stable and high wear resistance.
All stones within the minimum guaranteed dimensions have been inspected, eliminating the need for inspection and selection of raw stones as required for natural diamonds.
It has the property of being resistant to cracks and breaks during wire drawing.
The (111) face on the top and bottom prevents oval wear and maintains good roundness.
The top and bottom surfaces are cleaved into parallel planes, eliminating the need for polishing.
The outside is machined by laser, achieving a consistent shape for easy setting.
Mounting pressure is evenly applied, ensuring sufficient strength even for small volume.
